First impressions of the remake?

Well, I love horror films and when I saw they were remaking this specific horror film I was excited. I sometimes check the cast in films to see what kind of acting I am going to get. First name, Chloe Grace Moretz is playing Carrie White. Turned IMDB off, and went to see the film. Am not saying she is God's gift to acting but she can act this character. I have seen her in Kick Ass 1 and 2, Dark Shadows but more importantly Let Me In. She is really good. So, I was thinking since I've seen the old version is it going to be exactly the same movie. 

After I watched the film?

OMG. Carrie White is scary! The old version didn't scare me, this film didn't scare me. The only character that got me even remotely scared was Julianne Moore's character as Carrie White's mom because she has that disturbed and crazy sense of personality. For example, if she was coming up the road near me I would run the opposite direction and just hide in my house for hours to avoid this woman. I didn't find it a horror horror that most people will relate to. It's more a paranormal, drama with a hint of horror in there. Am not gonna lie, the last 30 minutes of the film is the horror part. The rest of it. is discovering who Carrie White is and what is wrong with her. 

Is there room for improvement for the film?

I feel how the film ended is how it should of ended. However, I did feel we needed to see more of Julianne Moore's character. We know from the beginning why Carrie's Mom is literally crazy with religion and how she feels towards Carrie. But, we never really know why she completely went like that. I wanted to see more of the disturbed side of her. Carrie White I felt happy with her character and how Chloe Grace Mortez portrayed Carrie White. I felt the special effects were spot on, there wasn't too much or too literally generally happy with the movie. 

So, what's the bottom line?

'YOU WILL KNOW HER', is the caption of this film. Honestly, she is quite hard to forget. Her personality is unique to get right and we discover along the movie her life. Bottom line? Into horror films and not into the slashers this is ideal for you. 

Tips if watching this film?

Don't look into the film, just watch it. Because, the best films are the ones you don't know anything about it. I haven't mentioned much of this film because it is unique and I won't mention anything really about it.

Am very open when I rate a film, IMBD users gave this a 6. I watched this with some of my family Betty and Tommy! They really liked it and so did I. I give it a hard bashing 10 out of 10. Just remember her.......CARRIE WHITE.....
